Tieme Janssen

Assistant Professor
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

Tieme is involved in a study on positive academic risk taking in adolescents, and the influence of peer and parental pressure.

Tieme’s research covers cognitive neuroscience in healthy and clinical populations (ADHD, dyslexia) and neuroscience-based interventions (neurofeedback). For these purposes, he utilizes the latest developments in EEG methods. In addition, he investigates how motivation for learning develops during critical transition periods, and how to positively influence motivation and school outcomes.
