Marieke Klein
Postdoctoral researcher
Radboudumc
Marieke is a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Human Genetics at the Radboudumc in Nijmegen and she is involved in workpackage 4 of GUTS.
Her main research interest is to uncover how the genetic code, in interaction with environmental factors, shapes the human brain and influences our behavior. She is particularly interested in the neurobiological mechanisms of psychiatric disorders. In her research she investigates the contribution of different types of genetic variants as well as the role of environmental factors, the interplay which is reflected in epigenetic mechanisms.
