Growing up in society is not an easy task, especially if circumstances, such as economic and biological factors, won’t let you thrive.  By combining behavioral and data on the neural level, this research will focus on predicting and understanding antisocial behavior. Specifically, the role of empathy will be investigated in the development of antisocial behavior and aggression regulation. A better understanding of the multidimensional construct of empathy in relation to antisocial behaviors might ultimately stimulate more effective strategies in the future to address and mitigate antisocial behaviors in society.
