Julianna Lopez

Julianna is a research assistant for WP1 of the GUTS project. She facilitates communication between the GUTS team at EUR and the Erasmus Medical Centre (EMC). They are primarily involved with data collection for the GUTS pilot at the EMC, including MRI scans, behavioural experiments, and questionnaires. In the future she will also be involved in conducting the MRI scans. Julianna has a background in psychology and neuroscience during her bachelor’s in liberal arts and sciences and is currently finalising her masters in the cognitive neurosciences at Utrecht University. During her internship at the EUR, she studied effects of adversity and family relationships on structural brain development in adolescents and wellbeing in young adults.
