Strengthening collaboration and scientific exchange

The GUTS-wide lab meetings provide a recurring forum for scientific exchange across the consortium. GUTSresearchers share ongoing work, discuss methodological and theoretical challenges, and identify opportunities for collaboration across projects. These meetings promote interdisciplinary learning, foster coherence across the research programme, and support the development of a shared scientific community. In doing so, they contribute to both the quality and integration of research activities within GUTS.

Beyond the presentation of research findings, the lab meetings create opportunities for researchers to receive feedback, explore complementary expertise, and develop new collaborative initiatives. The meetings also help align activities across the consortium by encouraging reflection on shared research questions, methodological approaches, and impact objectives. As a result, they play an important role in strengthening scientific integration and facilitating the exchange of knowledge across the different work packages and partner institutions involved in GUTS.
