Diner Pensant
Facilitating dialogue between research and practice
To strengthen engagement with knowledge users, GUTS organized a diner pensant in collaboration with MIND Us. The event brought together researchers, practitioners, and representatives from societal organizations in an informal yet structured setting, facilitating open exchange about research themes, emerging findings, and societal needs. Such dialogue-oriented formats create opportunities for mutual learning, support the identification of knowledge gaps and priorities, and contribute to building sustainable relationships between researchers and stakeholders.
The diner pensant also served as a platform for exploring how scientific insights can be translated into practice and policy. By bringing together participants with diverse expertise and perspectives, the event encouraged reflection on the societal relevance of ongoing research and highlighted opportunities for future collaboration. These interactions help ensure that research remains connected to the needs of young people and the organizations that support them, while strengthening the pathways through which knowledge can inform action.
