Join us for the GUTS Summer Event 2026 at the beautiful Strandclub Witsand in Noordwijk! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with fellow researchers, enjoy a relaxing beach atmosphere, and participate in fun games.

Event Highlights:

• Networking: Meet and connect with fellow researchers in a fun and informal setting.
• Beach BBQ & Drinks: Enjoy a relaxed evening with barbecue and drinks on the beach.
• Bring a Plus One and Your Children: We invite you to bring a guest to join in the fun and meet your colleagues. Children are welcome too.

Dress Code and Weather:

• The weather is expected to be around 18 degrees.
• The event will take place both inside and on the beach.

What to Bring:

• Sunglasses and sunscreen
• Fun beach games (badminton, Kubb, Spikeball, volleyball etc.)
• A positive attitude and readiness to network and enjoy!

How to Get There:

• By Car: Parking is available at Parkeerplaats Wantveld or Parkeerterrein Noordwijk Strand, just a 5-minute walk from the venue.
• By Public Transport:
  • From Leiden Central Station: Take Bus 20 to Noordwijk via Pickeplein, and stop at Wantveld, Noordwijk.
  • From Voorhout Station: Take Bus 285 to Den Haag Central Station, and stop at Vuurtorenplein, Noordwijk.
• By OV Bike:
  • From Leiden Central Station: About a 50-minute ride.
  • From Voorhout Station: About a 25-minute ride (Note: OV bike availability may be limited at Voorhout Station).
