In this symposium, researchers from the field of sociology host the day and highlight specific research areas, while inviting GUTS colleagues from across the consortium to join. We begin with an introduction, followed by a lecture that approaches the GUTS project from a sociological perspective.

The programme continues with sessions on data linkage with Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS), ego-centred networks, and socio-economic status (SES). The final session focuses on measuring SES in adolescence more thoughtfully within GUTS.
