Albeda (Vocational Education)
GUTS collaborates with Albeda to strengthen the involvement of vocational education (MBO) students in research on youth mental health and well-being. This partnership supports the inclusion of perspectives that are often underrepresented in academic research and contributes to the development of research that is responsive to the diverse experiences of young people. Through engagement activities and ongoing dialogue, students contribute valuable insights that inform research priorities, interpretation of findings, and dissemination strategies.
The collaboration is further strengthened through the appointment of Dr. Kayla Green, a GUTS postdoctoral researcher, as practor at Albeda. This role creates additional opportunities to connect research and educational practice, foster knowledge exchange, and develop research activities that are relevant to vocational education. Through these efforts, GUTS and Albeda work together to bridge the gap between science and practice while supporting the active involvement of vocational students in research.
